What: Bring in presents for families! More information will be told about the families at the meeting, but basically we’re going to hook some kids up with some awesome gifts! Bring in your gifts to meetings…..
When: BEFORE DECEMBER 16th!
Why: Spread love and cheer during the holidays!
How: Bring in gifts to Key Club meetings (can be wrapped or unwrapped). You can split the cost of a gift with a friend or two if you want.
If we get enough gifts from everyone, we can have a GIFT WRAPPING PARTAAAAAY!
So bring in those gifts everyone! Do it for the kids!

What: Serving hot cocoa and cookies to the kids at the Holiday Festival! There’s going to be other activities to help out with as well, like helping the kids make arts and crafts. Last year, we got to help them make sugar cookies (which were reallygood BTW, if that makes you want to come even more!).
When: Thursday, December 10th @ 5:45 PM
Where: Cypress Civic Center
So…not everyone in Key Club knows one another, and in order to bring our little KC family closer (and make it less awkward), we’re gonna have……………………………….

Time: 11:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Games, food, community service hours….it’s gonna be the bee’s knees. We’ll be making holiday cards for kids in hospitals as well, along with playing gamez and eating foods. Try bringing some snacks! It would only make it cooler.

When: Saturday, November 21st
Time: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: Yorba Park, Anaheim (7600 E. La Palma, Anaheim, CA 92807) [use Mapquest to get directions please because apparently Google maps takes you to a different Yorba Park]
At this event, there will be fun activities for all generations. Adults will walk and participate in races while the children will enjoy fun activities such as face painting, decorating shirts, and the bounce house in the middle of the field. There will also be a “rock-a-thon” for seniors. (rocking chairs provided, hehe how cute!). Lunch and snacks are available, opportunity drawing, and exciting silent auction. Volunteers will help run these activities on the day of the event.
Also, if you would like to actually walk in the event, you can pay $10 and get registered to walk it up.
All money raised will be going to GHH’s various programs including Nana’s Kidz (feeding chronically hungry children living in local motels), Grandma’s House Women’s Transitional Living Shelter, and Grandma’s Room (senior program for seniors who have suffered domestic abuse)

So November 14, 2009, we’re headed to Fall Rally!
General Info: Due to the District’s massive size, two Fall Rallies are held each year; one in Northern California and one in Southern California at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Join six thousand Key Clubbers this November for a day filled with rollercoasters, spirit battles, motivational program while fundraising for Pediatric Trauma Prevention. At Fall Rally South, LTGs and Executive officers are “auctioned” off to Divisions; the winning Division is able to then spend a designated period of time with the “purchased” officer. Auction funds and a portion of the ticket sales for both events go towards Pediatric Trauma Prevention and Pediatric Emergency Medicine

We still need people for 2nd shift!!! We know that a lot of you guys are probably trick or treating at this time, but we really need volunteers to operate the second shift.

For those of you going first shift, GET THERE EARLY! First come, first serve.
Contact one of the officers if you wanna sign up/ change shifts.
Come to Cypress Community Center dressed up in costumes and run game booths for kids! The event will have stage entertainment, games, “Trick or Treat Street”, “Spokey Alley”, and food booths. Please dress appropriately if you are wearing a costume bc we don’t want to scare off the kids. or get kicked out:/
